The Most High
Named in silence, answered in vow.
✠
The Most High is the source from which the Archangels were called, the Basilica raised, and the Psalm received. He is not a character in the Chronicles. He is the gravity against which every character is measured.
His silence in the saga is not absence. It is the silence of a sovereign whose word has already been spoken and now waits to be remembered. The faithful name Him without expecting reply. The fallen accuse Him for the same reason.
To speak the Most High aloud is to risk being heard.
“He does not answer. He waits to be remembered.”
