Holy Armour
Cloth woven of prayer. Stronger than any plate.
Holy Armour is not forged. It is given. When a priest of the Most High kneels in prayer and his vow is heard, the Most High clothes him in Divinity Steel — a fabric the eye reads as simple cloth and the blade discovers to be stronger than any plate armour ever struck on an anvil.
Divinity Steel does not weigh upon the wearer. It moves as the body moves, light as a chasuble, and yet turns the edge of a sword and the point of a spear as if the Most High Himself were standing between the wound and the man.
It is not invulnerable. It is bonded. When the prayer fails, the cloth fails with it. When the prayer is kept to the end, the cloth is buried with the priest who wore it.
