The Bell of Annwyn
The stone remembered what men had forgotten.
✠
The Bell of Annwyn is named in a fragment preserved from the Annwyn Vigil Scrolls. It tells of a moment beneath the storm when the seventh bell was struck, and the stone itself remembered what living men had long forgotten.
The faithful knelt without command, for the sound carried grief older than kingdoms. No voice spoke, yet every knee bowed. This is the power of Annwyn — not dominion, but remembrance.
“And when the seventh bell was struck beneath the storm, the stone remembered what men had forgotten. The faithful knelt, though no voice commanded them, for the sound carried grief older than kingdoms.”
