The Crystal Coast
Where the tide leaves glass and the cliffs leave names.
✠
The Crystal Coast is the long western shore where the cliffs are veined with quartz that catches the dawn and throws it inland for a mile. The tide leaves glass. The cliffs leave names — carvings older than any kingdom that claims them.
It has always been a place of vigils. The Basilica posts no permanent watch upon the Crystal Coast, yet there is always someone keeping one. The relics the sea returns are catalogued in the Undercroft and never displayed.
