The Invocation

Set before every Chronicle. Spoken once. Remembered always.

An ancient burnt parchment scroll lit by a single candle

Deep calls unto deep.

Light enters darkness.

Darkness answers.

No depth without witness.

No shadow without measure.

Love endures.

Hatred devours.

Every story begins

already weighed.
